Blackjack Deluxe has been described as the best Blackjack casino package on ANY computer platform.  It runs on almost every Macintosh with System 7 or later.  It requires 32 bit addressing to be on (meaning certain machines like the original Mac, Mac 512K, Mac 512ke, Mac Plus, Mac SE etc. can't run it because they can only address 24 bits due to a problem in the Macintosh ROM.)  Blackjack also requires 1600K of RAM to be free, and it takes up 2MB of hard drive space.  The 132 page color manual that comes with Blackjack Deluxe takes up 3.0 MB of space.  This is a self running application; you will NOT need a word processor to read the manual.

  22. Corrects the following bugs in version 2.1.6:

  24. • Selecting the Casino Rules item under the Rules menu would
  25.   occasionally hang the new Power PC Macs.  This has been resolved.
  26.  
  27. • Creating your own custom Basic Strategy table after
  28.   changing your name under the Register menu would produce a bomb
  29.   on all machines!  This has been resolved.
  30.  
  31. • Intermittent bombs were reported when selecting Counting Systems 
  32.   from the Strategy menu.  It was determined that the "Red 7"
  33.   counting system was corrupting memory (partly due to the
  34.   strange way the program needs to make an additional check
  35.   to see if a 7 is indeed RED) and caused this rare crash.
  36.   This has been resolved.

  40. Corrects the following bugs in version 2.1.5:

  42. • Counting Theory window under the Strategy menu is now drawn properly.

  44. • Users previously could change certain values in the Preferences
  45.   dialog box without having a "correction beep" alert them.  The
  46.   ranges are now handled properly.
  47.  
  48. • Certain PowerPC machines would get the message "Application
  49.   Unknown Has Unexpectedly Quit" when the program quits from the
  50.   File menu.  This has been resolved.

  52. • Higher valued ASCII characters from the Credit Card Ordering screen
  53.   could not be sent in certain eMail packages.  The encryption
  54.   scheme has been modified to eliminate any "bad ASCIIs" for these
  55.   older eMail engines.

  59. • By popular demand, the "Red 7" counting system has been added.
  60.   There are now 15 different card counting systems described in detail.
  61. • Face Down Blackjack rules have been added!

  64. • The Las Vegas Sands Hotel and Northern Nevada games without insurance
